Kabul have witnessed the deadliest terror attack on Friday, August, 7th.

Reports stated the target was an Afghan military facility. However, the blast occurred in a residential area and most of the casualties are believed to be civilians.

At least 50 civilians were killed and 400 are injured which shows the extreme savagery and un-Islamic movements of the terrorist groups.

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said the terrorist attack in capital Kabul was aimed at diverting the attention of the people from the ongoing tensions among the Taliban leadership.

He said the attack was also aimed at diverting the attention towards the defeat of terrorists in the battle ground who are facing the Afghan national security forces.

On Friday Mullah Akhtar Mansoor was announced as the new Taliban chief after the insurgents confirmed the death of Mullah Omar, who led the militant movement for about 20 years.

The Taliban have not given details of when and where Omar died, but the Afghan government said it happened in Karachi in April 2013. The group continued to release official statements in the name of Omar – who had not been seen in public since the Taliban were toppled from power in 2001 – as recently as last month.

The head of the Qatar-based political office of the Taliban has stepped down, a statement has said. The high-profile resignation of Tayeb Agha underscores bitter internal divisions in the movement following a recent power transition.

Some high figures of the Taliban militant group are trying to resolve differences in the leadership, raised over the selection of Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour as the successor supreme leader for Mullah Mohammad Omar, recently announced dead.

Mansoor and his two newly named deputies – religious leader Haibatullah Akhundzada and warlord Sirajuddin Haqqani – are seen as close to the Pakistani military establishment, which has historically nurtured and supported the Taliban.

Kabul residents in a rally on Saturday Augusy 8th accused Pakistan agencies of supporting terrorism, harboring Taliban and killing Afghans.

The Afghan Intelligence – National Directorate of Security (NDS) promised that the deadly truck bombing in capital Kabul will not go unanswered.

Penchant was to preserve what was slipping from our fingers: The vibrancy of magazines, the colors, the design, the layout, the words, the stories, the content, the passion. Penchant was to make use of what was available now: Technology, and create an online designer mag that would smear colors and add tang to the fading flavors of the world. We needed an ezine which would bring the world together. Unify skin colors, fade borders and highlight humanity.

We realized we had the experience, we had the team, we had the expertize. All we needed was the zeal to make it happen. We chose the younger generation's fervor and the older generation's expertize to launch CITRUS... for posterity of humankind...
